Plantronics Products certified interoperable with Mirial Softphone

Milan, March 09, 2010 - A set of products from Plantronics, global leaders in communication headsets, obtained certification of interoperability with Mirial Softphone.

Mirial Softphone is the software-only client for professional quality desktop video conferencing. It is fully compliant with all major visual communication standards and seamlessly integrates into every H.323 and SIP visual communication network. The first in its class with support for HD and Full-HD video as well as embedded MCU functionalities, available for both Windows and Mac OS X platforms.

Technical teams at both Mirial and Plantronics worked together to certify that the products interoperated successfully. The Mirial team reported that multiple trials produced a smooth and satisfactory user experience with clear, natural-sounding audio, without any distracting background noises in the office environment.

Both the corded headset Plantronics EncorePro HW291N and the headset system Plantronics Savi office WO 100/A offer a lifelike fidelity thanks to their noise-canceling technology. The Plantronics MCD100-M USB Speakerphone transforms any work space into a conference room providing 360-degree room coverage while the corded USB-to-headset adapter and audio processor Plantronisc DA45 USB Audio Processor is optimized to provide superior call clarity to existing headsets bringing crisp and natural-sounding conversations to softphone calls.

The Mirial Softphone itself features wide band audio, full duplex acoustic echo canceller and an Audio Denoise Filter. Those features, combined with the use of a high-performing audio device, such as Plantronics, enable a crystal clear audio experience.
