DyLogic launches Mirial 4.0 with full SIP support

Milan, 25th May 2004 - DyLogic launches today Mirial release 4.0, the software-only standards-compliant solution that enables the access to all Visual Communication services for all desktop end users.

Today, thanks to SIP protocol support, the new version of Mirial meets the needs of a market that is moving fast towards this solution. The current hardware videophones offers from other vendors do not cover this emerging Internet oriented protocol, while Mirial fills this gap also enabling the transition from H.323 protocol to SIP protocol thanks to Mirial Pro DS (Dual Stack) version. Moreover Mirial is compatible with the main Visual Communication standards and can be easily integrated in every Visual Communication Network.

According to a Wainhouse Research study, the Visual Communication market increased by 47% in Q3/2003 in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Frost&Sullivan expects a growth of this sector from 362 million dollars of 2003 to 2 billion dollars in 2008.
