DyLogic unveils Mirial Carrier Server for remote management of video softphone user base and concurrent calls licensing

MILAN, Mar 03, 2005 - DyLogic, developer of the most feature-rich and innovative solutions for interactive video services, today unveils its new release of Mirial Carrier Server, a videoconferencing network element designed to easily deploy and manage a Mirial video softphone user base. First on the market, it enables the concurrent calls licensing scheme regardless of the number of installed Mirial video softphones.

"Mirial Carrier Server is the all-in-one solution for Carriers and Video/Voice over IP service providers" said Emanuele Berti, CEO of DyLogic. "It includes all elements needed to provide VoIP and VVoIP services: our Mirial video softphone, a fully featured SIP Registrar and Proxy and a full firewall and NAT traversal solution. And most important, the ability to remotely manage each single parameter of each installed Mirial video softphone, like network configuration, GUI appearance and general Mirial behaviour."

"For example," continued Berti, "a service provider could start offering a VoIP-only service, and then remotely upgrade specific users to Video Conferencing without requiring any further installation or configuration actions from the user."

Mirial Carrier Server was engineered focusing on the final user experience requiring no action or know how from the user since all configuration settings are defined and provisioned remotely. The solution is targeted to Carriers and Video/Voice over IP service providers willing to offer their subscribers the smoothest visual communication experience in the simplest and most effective way, without renouncing to standards compliance thanks to field-proven Mirial video softphone interoperability in complex H.323 and SIP environments.

Mirial Carrier Server is available today, and has already been selected by some of the most important VoIP and Videoconferencing providers worldwide.
